Wendy Rosen
Wendy Rosen leads communications at the Toyota Research Institute (TRI). Joining TRI in 2020, Wendy brings over 20 years of expertise in executive communications, strategic events, and media relations, plus experience in the industrial, technology, and energy sectors. With TRI, Wendy supports the global messaging strategy on AI and Carbon Neutrality with TRI’s CEO and Toyota’s Chief Scientist, Dr. Gill Pratt. She also supports TRI’s research divisions, including state-of-the-art Robotics, Human Interactive Driving, Energy and Materials, and Human-Centered AI.
For over a decade, Wendy worked with DuPont’s leading scientists, first in the biotechnology division and then in the corporate communications function, leading DuPont’s science and sustainability communications. Her work helped illustrate to global markets how the company created essential innovations for societies to thrive.
Wendy began her career in Washington, D.C., as a press secretary on Capitol Hill. She grew to lead public affairs for the country’s premier trade association, representing American hardware and software companies. Later, she specialized in cleantech public relations in the Bay Area and worked with clients in the renewable energy market.
Wendy holds a master of arts in public communication from American University.
