Takumi Shibusawa is a senior coordinator in the Energy & Materials division at Toyota Research Institute (TRI). The objective of his work at TRI is to accelerate the development of innovative manufacturing technologies to produce good, low-cost batteries. He is engaged in research on manufacturing methods that combine ML and AI with conventional manufacturing like TPS.

Takumi received an M.S. in materials electrochemistry from Tokyo Institute of Technology. He has 7 years of experience in fuel cell manufacturing where he improved manufacturing through data analysis.
