Kerri Fetzer-Borelli

Director, Large Behavior Models

Kerri Fetzer-Borelli is director of the Large Behavior Models (LBM) division at Toyota Research Institute (TRI), where they lead a multidisciplinary team at the intersection of AI and Robotics. Their role drives organizational effectiveness by aligning long-term vision with near-term research and engineering priorities, fostering collaboration across teams, and ensuring the division’s work supports TRI’s broader mission.  

Previously, Kerri was director of Operations at TRI and managed a small team focused on strategic initiatives for the organization. Kerri has been a founding member of multiple TRI teams, including the Field Operations Team for Automated Driving and the Prototyping and Research Operations Team for Robotics.

Prior to joining TRI, Kerri led Test & Evaluation teams for various military robotics and ballistics programs on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense. Kerri has also worked as a journeyman ironworker and certified welder specializing in emergency maintenance and repair in the nuclear power industry.
