ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- TRI has made 14 new project awards representing a $6 million investment in the second year of a research program established under the 2016 research partnership between the University of Michigan and Toyota Research Institute (TRI).
Under the research agreement, TRI is providing an initial $22 million over four years for research collaborations with the U-M faculty in the areas of enhanced driving safety, partner robotics and indoor mobility, autonomous driving and student learning and diversity.
