Bloomberg Senior Editor Chester Dawson spoke with Toyota Research Institute CEO Gill Pratt, Russ Tedrake, VP of robotics research at TRI, and Aaron Saunders, CTO at Boston Dynamics, about the new Boston Dynamics and TRI research partnership.

They said In the interview that the partnership will pair Toyota Research Institute’s expertise in large behavior model learning for machines with Boston Dynamics’ humanoid Atlas robot.

“This kind of technology has tremendous promise for the future,” said Gill Pratt. “The work that we’re doing in generative AI can be a tremendous compliment to the kind of work that Boston Dynamics has done.”
