LOS ALTOS, Calif. - The TRI P4 automated driving test vehicle has been honored with a 2020 ACES award from Autonomous Vehicle Technology (AVT) magazine. It was recognized in the "Autonomy | Vehicles" category for testing a two-track automated driving system development, Toyota Guardian® and Chauffeur.
According to AVT, the "awards recognize the most innovative technologies, products, and services of the year from your company in the areas of vehicle autonomy, connectivity, electrification, and mobility services (ACES)." They "recognize production and prototype innovations and the work or result of top partnerships, collaborations, and consortia."
Winners were determined by AVT editors and other industry experts through evaluation of numerous companies and identifying the most innovative products and best reputations in their industries.
This year's award winners are featured in the December 2019 issue of AVT.
