
Dr. Weike Ye
Dr. Weike Ye is a senior research scientist in the Energy & Materials division at Toyota Research Institute (TRI), where she leverages artificial intelligence and atomic-scale simulations to accelerate materials discovery. Her expertise lies at the intersection of AI for science, multimodal learning, and graph neural networks, with a focus on developing data-driven and physics-informed approaches to uncover novel materials with enhanced properties.
Prior to joining TRI, Dr. Ye earned her Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California, San Diego, where she developed high-throughput simulation workflows, physics-informed machine learning models, and graph neural network-based interatomic potentials to expedite the discovery of novel materials, such as phosphors.
