CAMBRIDGE, Mass., May 22, 2018 -- The Toyota Research Institute is supporting the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) research into how autonomous vehicles make lane changes.

The discovery of a new algorithm is being presented this week at the International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) in Australia.
